Short Arts Collective along with the SSPA National Council would like to announce a national competition for all members to come up with a design of a commemorative logo, which celebrates the SSPA’s 50th Anniversary.

The commemorative logo will be used as part of the SSPA’s marketing campaign in the lead up and during the 2017 National Convention and part of the branding on any promotional material etc. we would produce for the Convention.

The competition is now open and will close on Friday 2nd September 2016 from there, five finalists will be selected by the Short Arts Committee and the winning logo will then be chosen by the Trustees of the SSPA Careers and Vocational Fund. The winner will be announced at this year’s SSPA National Convention at Phillip Island.

When do entries close?

What is a logo?

A logo is an image and/or lettering that is used to represent an organisation, business, school, association, a club etc. A logo can be either an image that is a picture or graphic and/or it can be lettering which just spells out the name. You can also have both a picture/graphic along with lettering to make up a logo.

For the SSPA’s 50th Anniversary we would love to have a commemorative logo which not only celebrates this incredible milestone for our organisation but also a logo which captures what the SSPA means to its’ members. Ideas can range from incorporating the old logo for the Little People of Australia with our current logo for the Short Statured People of Australia, could be a montage of what the SSPA means to you or just a simple image…the possibilities and ideas are endless, we just want to throw it open to all of you and we can’t wait to see what you come up with.
